I am often asked to what makes my private practice unique.. After much thought, I realized, it comes down to two things: I specialize in culturally sensitive Solution Focused and Behavioral Therapy, and the culture of my private practice., I have embraced the concept of "quality over quantity," I believe that is true when it comes tor providing therapeutic services to my clients. I purposely limit how any individuals I see at a time in order to provide the highest quality of care for my clients. Psychotherapy should not be composed of any gimmicks or overly "fancy" wording. It should be as simple as possible.. I live my personal and professional life by through phrase "less is more." The foundation of the practice was build upon the philosophy of going "back to basics" - and is built upon respect, integrity, professionalism, genuineness, and quality work.
My clients all have direct access to me (no receptionist answering services, or anyone who doesn't know you and/or your needs). In addition, by purposely limiting how many individuals I see, I am able to offer convenient scheduling; have the time to thoroughly collaborate with your other care providers, if you so desire; and spend time outside of session reflecting on your case in order to you are receiving the highest grade of care.
You are more than just my client. You are someone's friend, family member, etc,-- and you should be treated as so.
